Richard is passionate about construction, if he didn’t do it for a living, he would do it for fun! Having spent too long in the South East with the UK’s most successful construction company, he relocated to the South West. He loves finding better ways to do things.

With a background in Engineering David has 20 years of experience in Construction. Projects have ranged from Heavy civils to Schools and Hospitals to working for the British Antarctic survey in Antarctica. The more complex the project the greater the challenge. Chris’s enthusiasm for construction is equalled only by his passion for the Exeter Chiefs. Combine this with the comprehensive construction knowledge gained working for both local & national construction companies, along with a painstaking eye for detail and rigorous approach, and the result is the highest quality project consistently delivered.

What Liam doesn't know about Excel is not worth knowing. Liam oversees the commercial management department and has a foot planted in both Estimating and Quantity Surveying. Liam is a talented sportsman and brings tenacity and competitive spirit to bear on securing the optimum value for every project.

After 11 years in retail management, Samantha-Jayne retrained in financial services and joined Goulden & Sons in 2017 to manage the office. By day, SJ is at GSL HQ overseeing the accounts department and keeping the team in check. Outside of work, she embraces life in the South Hams walking the coastal paths with her dachshund as well as sitting on the committee for the annual and award winning Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta.
